The Muhammad Ali Parkinson Center’s Community Outreach Program is one of the most robust in the country. Through a broad range of services, we aim to help patients, and their families navigate the everyday challenges of Parkinson’s disease. We offer these services regardless of a patient’s ability to pay or where they receive their medical care.
The annual Walk The Fight & Run The Distance is our signature fundraiser event and the largest gathering of Parkinson’s patients, families, and friends in Arizona. 100% of the net proceeds raised through the walk help support community-based exercise, recreational, and educational programs offered at the Muhammad Ali Parkinson Center at Barrow Neurological Institute.
Fun Walk (2 Blocks): Short, accessible, and full of community spirit.
4K Walk (2.8 miles): Take in the route and connect with fellow supporters.
5K Timed Run (3.11 miles): The ultimate challenge for those ready to race for a reason.
The Experience: Come for the movement, stay for the connection! Explore our Resource Fair, let the kids run wild in the Kids Area, and visit the Poster Table to honor your "why." Don’t forget to swing by the Photo Booth to capture your favorite moments from this year’s event.
