The 42nd Barrow Neuroscience Nursing Symposium will take place on Tuesday, October 22nd and Wednesday, October 23rd in the Goldman Auditorium at the Barrow Neurological Institute in Phoenix, Arizona.

This year’s theme, Neuroscience Nursing: Professional Role Identity, will provide clarity to the neuroscience nurse identity by addressing an array of topics related to the science of neurological disorders, and collaboration among interdependent healthcare professionals.

Barrow Neurological Institute of St. Joseph’s Hospital and Medical Center is internationally recognized as a leader in neurological research, education, and patient care. Barrow officially launched its neuroscience nursing program on the day that the first neurosurgical units opened in 1962 with just 28 neuroscience nurses.

Since then, we have expanded our team to include over 400 neuroscience nurses. Barrow’s nurses are devoted to providing excellent patient care and finding better ways to treat neurological disorders.
