Twenty years ago, the Women's Board began the annual tradition of funding a specific research project at the Barrow Neurological Institute. These projects are chosen to highlight key areas of research at Barrow that are not only innovative, but also make a measurable impact on patients’ lives through cutting-edge research. 

We are proud to announce that the 2026 Women’s Board Project will support Brain Tumor Research at the Ivy Brain Tumor Center. This research project is on the cusp of transforming how we treat brain cancer, accelerating clinical trials, and unlocking new targeted therapies that offer renewed hope for patients and their families.
